Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses for PRN assignments. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments in a world-class ER/ICU environment. Education: RN from an accredited program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure in Arkansas or compact licensure required. 3:1 high-acuity ratio with in-house transfers managed by Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD/Diploma/BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• 1 year ER experience required for PRN

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and standards.
