Saint Francis Hospital in Delaware is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department team. This part-time, per diem role offers rotating shifts (evenings and weekends) and requires an active Delaware RN license with 6–12 months ER experience.

Candidates must hold BLS and ACLS; PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment. The ER unit emphasizes patient-centered care and a balance between work and life. Saint Francis is a Level III trauma center.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Delaware.
• Minimum 6–12 months ER experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist emergent patient and document accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tools.
• Identify patient needs from objective data and document accordingly.
• Implement appropriate nursing actions for patients and exercise sound judgment.
• Communicate with patient and family about planned care and outcomes; document accordingly; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
