Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Full-time 36 hours/week with day shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. You will perform assessments, plan and implement patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), DE RN licensure, ER/Acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS; PALS within 6 months of hire. Competitive benefits and supportive culture offered.

Qualifications

• ER/Acute Care experience required.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow through with documentation.
• Implements appropriate nursing actions for each patient.
• Makes decisions reflecting knowledge and sound judgment.
• Discusses with patient and family about planned care and expected outcomes and documents.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
