Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department in Wilmington, Delaware. Schedule: Per Diem, mixed shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am or 7:00 am - 7:30 pm) with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

The ED is a Level III Trauma 27-bed unit with geriatric-certified care. The ER staff nurse delivers direct patient care, maintains clinical records, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team within the Delaware

Qualifications

• Minimum nursing degree required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current Delaware RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing practice standards and documents patient care.
• Provide direct patient care in ED and document care appropriately.
• Assess patients, plan and implement care with documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Communicate with patients and families about care and outcomes.
