Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time position (36 hours/week) includes a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing, Delaware RN licensure, ER/acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS; PALS within 6 months. Benefits include medical, dental, 403B, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
• ER/Acute Care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing practice standards with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist the emergent patient and document accordingly on ER nursing tools.
• Identify patient needs based on objective data and document actions.
• Implement nursing actions tailored to each patient and use sound judgment.
• Communicate with patient and family about care plans and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
