Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and collaboration with patients and families.
• Knowledge of diverse backgrounds and how to convey respect.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey information effectively.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• RN licensure in Pennsylvania (PA) required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver care aligned with patient values and cultural beliefs.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and priorities and provides education.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor outcomes.
• Functions effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Demonstrates commitment to learning and acts as a preceptor to staff.
• Participates in hospital and practice committees focused on safety and quality.
