Job summary

Jefferson Health in East Norriton, PA seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, addressing individualized needs in line with cultural beliefs and values.

Responsibilities include collaborating with inter-professional teams, ensuring high-quality and safe care, and serving as a preceptor for staff.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and effective communication with patients, families, and care partners.
• Cultural awareness and ability to engage with diverse patient populations.
• Understanding of health information documentation and nursing records.
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania and 1 year inpatient RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, families, and staff to deliver collaborative care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and medications.
• Use information technology to communicate and monitor outcomes.
• Participate in safety and quality committees and promote continuous improvement.
