Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care or emergency nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans care across physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning domains.
• Formulates and updates a discharge plan in collaboration with patient/family.
• Implements care, coordinates with the health care team, and supervises delegated tasks.
• Evaluates patient progress and updates teaching as needed.
• Documents care and patient response accurately in the medical record.
• Participates in leadership activities and supports staff development.
