Responsibilities

• Develops and updates nursing plan of care with input from the interdisciplinary team and family.
• Administers medications and provides patient and family education about treatments.
• Coordinates discharge planning and communicates changes to the care team.
• Recognizes signs of complication and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Documentes treatments, assessments, and patient responses in a timely manner.
