Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an ED Registered Nurse for the Delnor Emergency Department, a full-time evening position. The role includes three 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

You will assess and coordinate care for acutely ill patients, maintain ANA standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A BSN, IL RN license, and BLS are required; ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, plan care, and coordinate nursing care.
• Direct care and oversee nursing assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and staff.
• Participate in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Document responses and adjust care plan based on evaluations.
• Use evidence to guide practice decisions.
