Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Tiffin Hospital to assess patient status, lead care planning, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes in a high‑acuity setting.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree, and preferred EPIC EHR experience; ACLS/PALS certifications are highly valued and must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS/PALS certifications preferred; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire; EPIC EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in a fast-paced ER.
• Assess patient status and determine priority of problems and needs.
• Develop and perform patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
• Serve as point of contact for care coordination across departments.
• Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients including trauma.
