Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing and eligible to practice.
• RN license required; BLS, ACLS may be required depending on department.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required by dept.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications per SSH policies and accurately documents as required.
• Develops, communicates and updates a prioritized plan of care for each patient.
• Initiates admission assessment within 8 hours of admission and documents teaching needs.
• Performs ongoing reassessment and documents care needs per nursing policy.
• Facilitates discharge/transfer planning with day-end goals and barriers identified.
