Job summary

Emerus is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER. You will apply advanced nursing knowledge to ensure comfort and safety, document meticulously, and follow physician orders.

The role requires 2+ years ER experience, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English fluency. This on-site position offers opportunities to contribute to high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions is required.
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or comparable setting is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Complete accurate, concise medical record documentation.
• Observe and record vital signs, symptoms and patient behaviors.
• Follow physician orders and collaborate with care team.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform tests per policy and CLIA/COLA guidelines.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Adhere to infection control, aseptic technique and safety standards.
