Job summary

Emerus is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ER setting. You will apply advanced nursing knowledge to ensure comfort and safety for patients and families.

Responsibilities include documenting medical records clearly, following physician orders, collecting specimens, adhering to infection control, and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers. A state RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate, concise medical records documentation.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of care.
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
