Job summary

Intermountain Health LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department. The role requires current RN licensure and BLS; ED experience and BSN preferred; full-time position with 36 hours per week, variable shifts.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, provide patient education, ensure safe patient care, and document accurately.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status; gathers information from patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with active involvement of patient, family, and team.
• Implement: Directs care delivery, coordinates with team, manages time and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Adheres to regulatory standards, documentation, and ethical practice.
