Schedule/Shift

This position requires working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Candidates must be able to work 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will coordinate patient treatments and care plans with a focus on a team nursing approach supported by paramedics, EMTs, and a dedicated unit secretary. The Emergency Department features a 32-bed main area and a 10-bed Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED).

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and the implementation of care.
• Perform procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
• Utilize the Epic documentation system to maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide exceptional patient experience by listening attentively and responding to patient needs.

Required Experience
