Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for full-time coverage. The role requires six months of RN ED experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and 36 hours per week in a mix of mid and night shifts.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the care team to deliver evidence-based, high-quality nursing care. A BSN is preferred and ongoing professional development is supported.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; valid compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: conducts comprehensive assessment of physical, psychosocial, and development status and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: develops individualized care plans with patient and family involvement and coordinates education and referrals.
• Implement: leads care delivery, delegates tasks, and manages time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate: reviews outcomes, revises plans as needed, and reassesses progress.
• Professionalism: adheres to legal/ethical standards, documents accurately, and maintains licensure compliance.
