Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• BLS certification required.
• TNCC or TNS within 18 months.
• ENPC within 24 months.
• PALS within the first year and ACLS within the first year.
• New graduate RNs start BSN within 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a fast-paced ED.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor responses.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and patient status; document findings.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team; participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families; consider culture and age in explanations.
• Maintain infection control practices and accurate documentation.
