Qualifications

• RN with IL license and current BLS required.
• TNCC/TNS, ENPC, and ECRN within specified timelines.
• HP First Aid (CPI) within first year; PALS and ACLS within first year.
• New grads must obtain BSN within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications and procedures as ordered; monitor responses.
• Continuously monitor vital signs and document observations promptly.
• Coordinate care with physicians, NPs, and other staff; participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control standards.
• Respond to emergencies with timely interventions and life‑saving actions.
• Support a positive team environment and uphold safety protocols.
