Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, plans care, coordinates delivery, and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff to document a care plan focused on outcomes.
• Participates in governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and updates care plan.
• Uses best available evidence to guide practice decisions.
