Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will provide the highest standard of patient/family centered care, use the nursing process, and participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning.

You will communicate clearly via SBAR and maintain regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, 12-hour shift environment. Applicants should have a CA RN license, 1 year ED nursing experience, and basic EKG competence; BSN is

Formación

One (1) year of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department nursing.
Current California Nursing license.
Basic EKG Competence.
Certification in Emergency Department Nursing preferred.
Internal MLKCH Nurse Residency Program or Transition Fellows program or similar will be considered.

Responsabilidades

Provide high-quality, patient/family centered care in the ED using the nursing process.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for defined patient populations.
Document care, using SBAR for hand-offs and timely communication.
Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning with Care Managers.
Maintain a safe, clean environment compliant with regulatory standards.
Support department readiness for patient care at all times.
