Job summary

Physicians Premier, a standalone 24/7 emergency room in Texas, seeks a skilled RN to join our fast-paced team. You will triage, evaluate, and treat patients under physician supervision, collaborating across disciplines and pursuing ongoing education.

The ideal candidate has a Texas RN license, at least two years in emergency care, and current CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive environment with rapid response expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of registered nurse and emergency room nursing experience.
• Current Texas RN license (or a multistate compact RN with privilege to practice in Texas).
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification required.
• TNCC Certification required.
• NIHSS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by evaluating the medical complaint or current symptoms and report to physician.
• Assist physicians during exams, procedures, diagnostic testing and treatments.
• Perform IV initiation/infusion/therapy, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, pulse oximetry, oxygen administration, nebulized treatments, wound care, splinting, and basic bedside care.
• Recognize and treat life-threatening conditions.
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments across all age groups and reassess as needed.
• Apply accurate triage to ensure timely and appropriate care.
