Job summary

Heywood Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. Under the direction of the nurse manager, you will perform direct and indirect patient care activities per established standards.

This role offers a $12,500 sign-on bonus and a schedule of days, 7:00am-3:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday. The pay range is $39.58-$78.93 per hour, reflecting competitive wages, benefits, and earned time off.

Qualifications

• AS in nursing required.
• BS in nursing preferred.
• 3-5 years ED experience preferred.
• Current MA license or eligible to practice in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and reassesses patient needs and plans care.
• Delivers direct patient care and collaborates with health care team.
• Provides patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Ensures accurate documentation of care and patient responses.
• Maintains safety, reports incidents, and follows hospital protocols.
