Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes. Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure and BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety.
