Dignity Health at Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, California, is seeking an Emergency Department Staff Nurse to apply the nursing process and provide safe, therapeutic care for patients of all ages, aligned with our Mission and Core Values.

Every day you will provide total patient care, assist in managing care administered by other staff, and assume responsibility for your assignments, including relief charge nurse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• 6 months or more of acute care experience.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating patients presenting complaint at triage.
• Assessing and identifying actual or potential health problems.
• Communicating information to the physician about patient concerns/needs.
• Identifying needed nursing regimen; executing nursing regimen through the selection, performance, management and evaluation of nursing action.
• Assessing health status for the purpose of providing nursing care, providing health teaching and/or home care instructions.
• Administering medications, treatments and executing regimens prescribed by licensed physicians.
• Cares for patients of all ages, from neonates/infant through elderly.
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjust nursing care.
