Job summary

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will coordinate and provide nursing care, educate patients and families, and lead in collaboration with the health-care team to maintain professional standards.

The role requires a California RN license, ADN or BSN, and at least 1 year in an acute care ED. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS and NIHSS are required at hire, and basic computer skills in Word/Excel are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a California RN license.
• Graduate from a nursing program with ADN or BSN.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ED experience.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS & NIHSS required on hire.
• Computer-literate with Word/Excel.
• Familiarity with Allscripts/EMR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/provide nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with the care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Care across age groups including infant to geriatric.
