Job summary

San Antonio Community Hospital in California seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide and manage patient care under the ED director and leadership. Qualifications

• Experience: One year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication in English; able to function in high-acuity, fast-paced ED; uses critical thinking and evidence-based practice; proficient with emergency interventions and monitoring; strong organizational and time-management skills; familiar with EMR, CPOE, patient tracking, and MS Office; maintains HIPAA and patient safety standards; collaborates effectively with physicians and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages emergency patient care using the nursing process.
• Delegates to and supervises licensed and unlicensed staff; coordinates interdisciplinary care.
• Maintains patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance; utilizes EMS and ED equipment.
