Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department and Telemetry, guiding patient/family teaching and supervising nursing staff. Required is an active state RN license with BLS; ALS and PALS/ENPC certificates are expected within specified timelines, with CEN preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Active state RN license required.
• BLS certificate required at hire and maintained.
• ALS and PALS/ENPC certificates within specified timeframes are required.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Trauma/ED certifications (TNCC/EDAP/NRP) per facility policy.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe patient care in Telemetry and Emergency Department.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and document results of diagnostics.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and adhere to EMTALA regulations.
