Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center's Emergency Department in Snellville, GA is seeking an RN for part-time day shifts. The 38-bed ED handles about 160 patients daily and operates as a Stroke/ STEMI receiving center with helicopter pads on campus.

You will join a team with ED providers, charge nurses, flow coordinators, and support staff. A current Georgia RN license and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Organizes patient data into care plans and identifies outcomes.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the patient record.
• Communicates issues to the Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician.
