Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a compassionate RN for our Emergency Department. This full-time day shift offers onboarding support and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

You will assess and care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in a fast-paced environment as we provide stroke and STEMI interventions. Applicants must have GA RN license and BLS, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• GA RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and data collection.
• Age-appropriate assessments and patient/family education.
• Organize data into plan of care and identify outcomes.
• Carry out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and acuity.
• Oversee activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for education.
• Communicate concerns to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician.
• Document patient care and concerns in the chart.
