Job summary

Piedmont Eastside SOUTH Campus Emergency Dept is hiring a RN for the Emergency Department (Night shift). You will assess, triage, plan and deliver care to both adult and pediatric patients in an 11-bed ED. Opportunities to precept, mentor, and support the charge nurse are included.

Qualifications include RN license in GA and a BSN preferred. Be ready to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, plan, implement and evaluate care for adult/pediatric patients.
• Coordinate patient care and supervise ancillary staff.
• Provide patient/family teaching and discharge planning.
• Document care accurately in patient records.
• Communicate effectively with Charge Nurse and physicians.
