Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a dedicated RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time days schedule. The ED is a 38-bed unit serving about 160 patients daily with multiple pods and capabilities for stroke and STEMI interventions.

Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, assessments, planning, and collaboration with ED providers. BLS is required; graduation from an accredited nursing program is essential, with a BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient assessments including data collection on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
• Organize data into plan of care and determine expected outcomes.
• Carry out and monitor plans to achieve outcomes.
• Provide age-specific nursing care per patient needs and acuity.
• Supervise ancillary staff and collaborate with ED team.
