Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Milford is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate discharge planning in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires active Massachusetts nursing licensure and ongoing certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable). Signing bonus may be available and the team emphasizes respect and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per job description and competency.
