Job summary
Edward Elmhurst Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Edward Hospital Naperville. This full-time role is 32 hours per week with evenings 7:00am-3:00pm, and every third weekend and rotating holidays.
Candidates need an associate degree or higher in nursing, and at least 1 year of ED experience. IL RN licensure, CPR, ACLS/PALS within three months, and NIHSS within three months are required.
Qualifications
- Requires Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; If ADN is highest degree, must obtain BSN within five years of start date.
- 1+ years' experience in the emergency department.
- Current IL RN licensure and CPR certification.
- ACLS within three months, PALS within three months, NIHSS within three months.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Assess patient condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
- Delegate appropriate tasks and function as a team member to meet unit goals.
