Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This full-time ED role offers evenings, 32 hours weekly, with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license with at least 1 year in an ED, CPR and ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within required timeframes, and an ADN or higher with BSN within five years of start date.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or higher required.
• If ADN is highest degree, must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Illinois RN licensure required; CPR certification; ACLS, PALS and NIHSS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the Illinois Nurses Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patients’ condition, plan and evaluate care; monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with the health-care team to meet unit goals.
