Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. Full-time, 36 hours per week, with night hours from 7p-7a and rotating weekends. Licensure in IL required; BSN preferred; BLS/CPR certification required; 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
