Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the health care team.

The role requires critical care knowledge, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Cerner and EPIC. A Florida RN license is required for this full‑time Day shift position.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
