Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the Tustin, CA location. You will provide critical nursing care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.

The role requires a California RN license, AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), and ED experience or ED training. Flex scheduling and strong communication are essential to support patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

California RN license active and unrestricted.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Minimum 1 year emergency nursing experience or ED training program with EMTALA and ESI training.
Excellent English communication; ability to work varied shifts.
De-escalation certification required on hire; SAMA certification on recertification.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care including medications, IV titrations, monitoring and procedures.
Develop and implement plan of care for ED patients; reassess and adjust as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure timely throughput and safe, high-quality care.
Communicate compassionately with patients and families and educate on treatment plans.
