RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Physician Assistant for a per-diem role in the Emergency Department in New Jersey. The position emphasizes rapid assessment, ordering tests, and initiating treatment plans under physician supervision.

Eligible candidates will hold PA certification with NJ licensure and required BLS/ACLS, plus active nursing or PA credentials. The role requires flexibility to cover extended hours, overnights, weekends and holidays in a high-volume ED setting.

Formación

• PA certification and NJ licensure required.
• Master's in Nursing or NP/PA certification.
• BLS/ACLS certs; PALS if required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain and record patient history.
• Complete diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
• Perform physical and medical screening examinations.
• Manage patient flow in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care with the health care team; participate in staff meetings.
