Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Physician Assistant Certification is required.
• New Jersey licensure/registration is required and DEA licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records patient history.
• Performs physical and medical screening examinations.
• Orders diagnostic tests and therapies.
• Initiates treatment plans and coordinates patient care.
• Counsels patients regarding health, and completes charting thoroughly.
• Manages patient flow in ED or inpatient units.
• Performs state-allowed procedures under supervision.
• Keeps up with regulatory, HIPAA and CME requirements.
