Job summary

Complete Care in Southlake, TX seeks a Full-Time ER Physician to join our dynamic team. You will provide emergency medical care in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with nurses, techs, and physicians to deliver timely patient care.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, holds an MD or DO, and can work independently in a freestanding ER. Independent contractor status is available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Current and valid state medical license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging) to guide treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed in emergency situations.
• Provide clear, concise documentation of patient care in compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians, for ongoing patient care.
• Adhere to all medical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and critical thinking in emergency situations.
