Job summary

Complete Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Full-Time ER Physician to join our fast-paced, freestanding emergency department. You will provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages, collaborate with nurses and specialists, and contribute to efficient patient flow in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate is MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, licensed in Texas, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and has 1–2 years ER experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Current and valid state medical license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) to guide treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed in emergency situations.
• Provide clear, concise documentation of patient care in compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists and primary care physicians, for ongoing patient care.
• Adhere to all medical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and critical thinking in emergency situations.

What we’re looking for

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Current and valid state medical license.
