Job summary

Schertz Cibolo Emergency Center in Texas seeks an ER Physician to provide emergency medical care across all ages in a freestanding emergency room. You will work closely with nurses, CT radiology technicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Current and valid state medical license and DEA.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging) to guide treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed in emergency situations.
• Provide clear documentation of patient care in EMR via EPD.
• Communicate with patients, families and coworkers regarding diagnoses and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with specialists and primary care to ensure ongoing patient care.
• Adhere to medical protocols, quality standards and patient safety guidelines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with composure and critical thinking.

As an ER Physician, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients with a variety of conditions across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff, CT Radiology Technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide competent and compassionate care.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Current and valid state medical license and DEA
