Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Pharmacist to support clinical and distributive services in a hospital setting. You will ensure safe, cost-effective therapies and participate in clinical programs to promote desirable patient outcomes across age groups.

The role requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, Oklahoma pharmacist licensure, and a willingness to meet preceptor certification. ASHP PGY1 residency is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Licensed as a pharmacist in good standing in OK.
• Preceptor license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in clinical programs and educational goals of the department.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to improved patient outcomes through safe, cost-effective drug therapies.
• Support and enhance pharmacy processes to improve safety and efficiency.
