Job summary
Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring optimal patient care across age groups. The role supports development and maintenance of programs enhancing safety, outcomes, and cost-effective therapies.
Qualifications include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Oklahoma licensure, and ASHP PGY1 residency (preferred). Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 plus relocation assistance are provided and benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- Licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
- Preceptor license required/maintained through OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
- Board-certification in a related practice area encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Process orders and dispense medications following policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; support ACGME accreditation and reporting to external agencies.
- Contribute to departmental educational goals.
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
