Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist with OK State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• Preceptor license maintained with OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship required or to be achieved upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs and supports distributive services.
• Processes orders and dispenses medications per policies and regulations.
• Maintains ACGME accreditation reporting requirements and preceptor duties.
• Contributes to education goals and promotes patient safety and outcomes.
