Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician on the Night Shift to support the care delivery team under the RN. You will assist with direct patient care, manage routine tasks, document observations, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have completed a nursing prerequisite, or a certified medical assistant/patient care tech program, plus a current BLS credential.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed first semester in an accredited nursing program.
• Required or successfully completed a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• Required or active certification may substitute for education qualifications (CMA, MA, RMAs, CNA, EMT).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to promote health and wellness.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
• Promote infection prevention and perform standard patient care procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living and vital signs documentation.
• Support continuous, patient-centered care under RN supervision.
