Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist the care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will provide delegated patient care, monitor patients, document actions, and report changes promptly.

This part-time role supports safe, quality care with a patient-centered approach, including infection control and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of at least the first semester in an accredited nursing program or completion of a medical assistant or patient care technician program.
• Certification substitutions acceptable: CMA/MA/MA, RN, CNA or EMT per requirements.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist RN with delegated patient care and sterile/non-sterile procedures.
• Monitor patients, report changes, document actions and observations.
• Maintain safe environment and promote patient comfort and safety.
• Communicate patient data to the care team in a timely manner.
• Contribute to infection prevention and standard precautions.
