Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Nursing Support professional to provide patient care under physician orders at Lowell General Hospital. The role includes ADLs, patient safety, and daily living activities with a team-focused approach in a Magnet-designated environment.

Hours are 36 per week, 7am-7pm, with every other weekend and holiday required. Competitive pay and benefits begin on day one, including a 403(b) plan and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under nurse supervision, perform ADLs and patient care activities.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and maintain cleanliness.
• Prioritize care per nursing direction and discharge plan.
• Transport patients for procedures/discharge as directed.
• Operate equipment safely and record patient data accurately.
• Provide patient sitter duties and maintain observation.
• Perform clerical duties and greet visitors professionally.
• Screen access to department and maintain security policies.
• Complete admission, transfer and discharge paperwork promptly.
• Maintain patient charts and respond to patient/family needs.
