Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department night shift at Highland Park Hospital. You will work full-time (36 hours/week) on an evening schedule from 11:00 to 23:30 with rotating weekends, providing essential patient care in a fast-paced ED setting.

The role requires CNA training preferred, BLS certification, strong teamwork, and ability to follow directions while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US
• CNA training preferred
• At least one nursing clinical rotation preferred
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association) or must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork, ability to prioritize and follow directions
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties in the Emergency Department
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs
• Communicate with healthcare team and patients while wearing PPE as required
• Assist with patient transfer and movement following safety guidelines
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during shifts and while providing care
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during duties
